What is Deltek Insight?

Deltek Insight brings together customers, partners and industry experts for an umatched four-day learning and networking experience. Hundreds of unique sessions are offered, including product training, discussions of best practices, case studies and business strategies. Containing dedicated areas and programs for the purpose of joining like-minded business professionals, Insight is designed to both maximize networking and engagement among attendees and connect people with the colleagues and topics most relevant to their interests.

When and where will Deltek Insight 2017 be held?

Insight 2017 will be held October 23-26 at the beautiful Gaylord  Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN.

Will Continuing Education Credits be available?

At Deltek Insight 2017, you will find hundreds of sessions that qualify for Continuing Education Credits. Professional education credits will be available from the following organizations:

  • American Institute of Architects (AIA) — LUH credits
  • National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) — CPE credits
  • National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) — PDH credits
  • Project Management Institute — PDU credits
  • Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) — CEU Credits 

When will I receive my Continuing Education Credit acknowledgement(s)?

Session attendance letters are emailed to attendees who request credit acknowledgment letters 8-12 weeks after the conference. More information on how to obtain the letters will be provided at the conference.

What is the registration process?

To register for Deltek Insight 2017, complete the 
online registration form.

Are there group discounts available?

Yes. Group discounts are available. These rates are throughout the registration period.

If your company wants to participate in the group discount program, please 
contact us
 with your request.  Please provide your company name as well as the name, address, email address and telephone number of a group discount contact person, and the estimated number of attendees. Once we have this information, you will be provided with a unique group discount code which must be entered during the online registration process when each company member registers. The discount contact person must be prepared to pay for the Total Cost before the code is activated.

I'm bringing a guest. What activities can they attend with me?

Guest tickets may be purchased for Monday’s Welcome Reception, Tuesday’s Insight Expo Reception and Wednesday’s Celebrate Insight Customer Party, and are required for entry. Guests are not permitted into the sessions, Insight Expo, or to conference breakfasts, lunches and coffee breaks. Guest tickets are very popular, but also very limited, so we strongly recommend that you purchase them in advance through the Insight 2017 conference registration site. Guests must be at least 21 years of age. For guest ticket prices, please check  
the Dates & Fees page.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else in my company in the event I cannot attend?

Yes. Substitutions can be made in writing to Deltek Insight Registration at info@deltekinsight.comwith the names of both the original and substitute registrant and/or guest. Substitutions may be made at any time prior to September 18, 2017. Any change or cancellation of travel reservations is the exclusive responsibility of the registrant and/or guest. Please note that we cannot accept substitutions by phone. Substitutions can be made through September 18, 2017. One substitution will be granted without penalty. Second substitution will incur a $150 administrative fee. Processing fees are not refundable.

What if I need to cancel?

You may cancel your registration and/or guest ticket by sending a request to

. All cancellations must be received in writing. Please email your cancellation to

All cancellations and substitutions must be requested via Return Visitor Services or in writing to 
Insight2017@TravelHQ.com
. For substitutions the names of both the original and substitute registrant are required. Refunds if applicable will be processed by the following guidelines:

May 2 - June 19, 2017, a full refund will be issued for cancellations. Substitutions permitted.

June 20 - September 19, 2017  a $1000 refund (50% for Day Passes) will be issued for cancellations. Substitutions permitted.

After September 19, 2017 no refunds or substitutions will be issued.


Pre-Conference Workshops Cancellations and Substitutions        

May 2 - June 19, 2017, a full refund will be granted.

After June 19, 2017 no refunds or substitutions will be granted.


Guest Cancellations and Substitutions                

May 2 - June 19, 2017, a full refund will be granted.

After June 19, 2017 no refunds or substitutions will be granted.


EVERY TRANSACTION WILL INCUR A $25 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE

How do I get a copy of my registration invoice?

Your email confirmation, sent after you hit "Final Submit" on the online registration form, will serve as your receipt. For additional needed documentation, contact

Can I pay with a company check?

Yes, however, please note that payments are made and sent to Deltek's event management partner, Maritz Travel. Checks sent directly to Deltek will cause delays in confirming your registration(s) and/or guest ticket(s). Please make the check payable to Maritz Travel Company and mail or overnight to:

Invoice(s) must accompany the check, and must reference the attendee's name(s) and invoice number(s). Payments by check must be received within 30 days after you register or your conference registration will be canceled. All checks must be received by September 16, 2017.

Please note that you will be required to enter a credit card number during registration even if you are paying by check. If your check is not received within 30 days of your registration, your credit card will be charged.

Can I pay with a Purchase Order (PO)?

Yes, instructions will be provided during registration. 

Will Deltek provide meals during Insight?

All attendees with Full Conference badges will have access to the following meals:

  • Monday, October 23 – Welcome Reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres
  • Tuesday, October 24 – Breakfast, morning break, lunch, afternoon break, Insight Expo Reception with light hors d’oeuvres
  • Wednesday, October 25 – Breakfast, morning break, lunch, afternoon break and buffet dinner during the Celebrate Insight party
  • Thursday, October 26 – Breakfast, morning break

Please note that those with guest tickets are not permitted into the sessions, Insight Expo Hall or conference meals, except where indicated.

What is the smoking policy at the venue?

Gaylord Hotels are smoke-free facilities. There are designated outdoor smoking areas.

Am I allowed to record any of the presentations or demonstrations during Deltek Insight?

Any unauthorized recording of the presentations or demonstrations at Deltek Insight is strictly prohibited.

What is the attire for the conference?

The attire for Deltek Insight is business casual. Celebrate Insight, the evening event on October 25, is casual attire.

Can I get the conference hotel rate if I contact the hotel directly?

No.  You must use the link provided for all reservations.  Please note that the conference rate will expire on September 15, 2017.

I do not need hotel accommodations. Is there a registration price difference?

No. The registration fee does not include travel and hotel accommodations.
